I’m a product designer, researcher, and design leader with 10 years of experience making complex systems clear for the people who depend on them most. I’ve built and led design teams, including as Saildrone’s first designer, and directed cross-functional teams of up to 10. My work spans government, healthcare, and climate, from the CMS.gov redesign used by millions to real-time ocean data for NOAA, NASA, and the Navy. Currently at Nava PBC, I design how AskCA, California’s public AI assistant, helps people navigate government services. I lead research initiatives and human evaluations, and design user journeys and AI system instructions for disaster recovery, running a business, and other high-risk topics.
